Can I give a flat donation instead of an amount pledged per lap?
Yes, Flat donations are rewarded the same as if you made a pledge per lap. The average number of laps run is 30 laps, so a $30 donation equals $1 pledged per lap and $60 equals $2 pledged per lap.
How many laps will the students run?
Students average between 25-30 laps, and the lap cap is 36. If you pledge $1 per lap, it will probably be a $25-$30 donation, but it will never be more than $36.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. 100% of any gift given from a sponsor to a school or a parent organization is tax deductible. Please keep your check stub for tax purposes.
When are pledges and donations due?
Students call or email their sponsors after they have completed the Fun Run and share with them how many laps they completed. Pledges and donations are due one week after the Fun Run event. This is important because the students and school recieve rewards based on this timeline.
How do I pay my pledge or donation?
You can pay online or write a check made out to the school your sponsored student attends. To give online, go to FunRunTime.com. Enter the email address you provided with your pledge, and then you will be able to pay with a credit/debit card. To give by check, hand or mail the check to your sponsored student. Make the check payable to the parent organization at the school your sponsored student attends.
What percentage does your company keep and why?
Our goal is to raise as much money as possible for the schools we are serving. The percentage is set up on a sliding scale so that the more money a school raises, the higher a percentage the school will keep. A FundRunners' school can keep as much as 70% of all the funds collected! That is about 20% higher than our nearest competitor!
We invest 250-300 man hours into each program, plus we pay for all the prizes, printed materials, equipment, and team members out of our cut. It takes a lot of time and effort to put on these Fun Run programs, and we are committed to delivering the highest quality program possible.
